Cohort participation is complementary but spaces limited to keep discussions intimate and lively.
The gap no one’s measuring.
AI adoption failures are rarely technology failures. Systems get procured, piloted, and even proven—and still stall at the point of human use. People route around the tool. They comply on paper and quietly disengage in practice. The pattern repeats across organizations and industries, and the common explanations describe the symptom without diagnosing the cause.
The AI Adoption & Behavioral Science Cohort is a free, 5-session working group for leaders grappling with this gap. It approaches adoption not as a training or communications problem, but as a behavioral one: a predictable set of psychological frictions that determine whether people actually trust, use, and rely on an AI system once it's live.
-
What you'll learn.
The AI Trust Axis is Behavieural’s proprietary scientifically-validated 5-dimensional framework for understanding why AI adoption succeeds or breaks down at the human level:
Cognitive Alignment—whether the system's logic matches how people actually think through the decision
Autonomy Safety—how much control people feel they retain when the system is involved
Fairness Comprehension—whether people can understand and trust how the system reaches its outputs
Interaction Effort—how much friction stands between a person and using the system as intended
Failure Recovery Intelligence—how the system and organization respond when something goes wrong
Participants leave with a working understanding of each dimension and how to recognize it in their own organization.
-
Who it's for.
A small, selective group of leaders involved in AI adoption decisions or execution. The cohort is capped to keep discussion substantive and to allow real cases to be worked through as a group, not just presented to.
-
A look inside the cohort.
A working introduction to the AI Trust Axis, including how each dimension shows up concretely in adoption contexts.
Diagnostic worksheets and exercises, completed live and between sessions, to help you map your own adoption friction onto specific behavioral dimensions.
Peer case discussion, drawing on anonymized or hypothetical scenarios so you can pressure-test your thinking against others facing similar dynamics.
A diagnostic snapshot by the final session—a working view of where your organization's adoption risk sits across the five dimensions.
-
What's the format?
Five 1-hour sessions, held online, running from early fall through mid-December.* Between-session worksheets are lightweight but expected—the cohort's value compounds when you show up having applied the last session's thinking to your own context.
*Dates and times will be approximately every three weeks, selected that works for all members of the cohort.
Session arc.
-
Session 1—Framework Introduction & First Diagnostic
Introduce the AI Trust Axis and why adoption failure is a behavioral phenomenon. Complete an initial exercise identifying where your current adoption effort is showing strain.
-
Session 2—Deep Dive: Two Dimensions
A closer look at two of the five dimensions most commonly driving adoption breakdowns. Refine your diagnosis based on what you've observed since Session 1.
-
Session 3—Deep Dive: Remaining Dimensions & Case Application
Coverage of the remaining dimensions, applied against real or hypothetical cases brought by the group.
-
Session 4—Case-Based Synthesis
A working session built around participant cases, using the full framework to work through where trust is breaking down and why.
-
Session 5—Diagnostic Snapshot & What Remediation Looks Like
Leave with a working diagnostic snapshot of your organization's adoption risk profile, and a candid discussion of what full remediation involves.
